‘Je ne cuit pas’ is a polyphonic ballade written by the prolific 14th century French composer and poet Guillaume de Machaut. The composition was written sometime between the years 1324 through 1349, and can be found in six extant manuscripts compiled in the later years of Machaut’s life.

My performance of this piece was an entry in the 2017 Caid Arts Fair & Pentathlon, for which I was award 2nd place, Artisan level, for Vocal Performance.
